The practical answer
It may involve both auction and import requirements, making pre-bid planning especially important.
Supply the location, auction terms, seller identity, asset specification, payment deadline and planned transport into the UK. Clarify who is responsible for export, import and collection.
Ask the lender which conditions must be met before payment and whether it can fund before UK delivery. Approval for a UK auction purchase does not automatically cover an overseas lot.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
