Finance around your business

The vehicle you need. A funding plan that fits.

A new contract, an extra driver or a van reaching the end of its working life can all mean a vehicle purchase needs to move quickly. We bring the supplier quote and finance application together, with one point of contact throughout.

Already found a van? Send us the listing or quotation. Still looking? Tell us the specification, budget and delivery requirements and we can help with sourcing as well as funding. We work from Kent with limited companies across the UK.

Finance is subject to status and lender approval. Deposits, rates, terms and any guarantees depend on your business, the asset and the lender.

What we can help fund

The right asset for the work ahead.

New business vans

Panel vans, short and long wheelbase models, chassis cabs and specialist conversions. We can discuss sourcing and funding together, with specification and availability confirmed before you commit.

Used commercial vans

Replacing a working vehicle without the cost of buying new? We can explore finance for a used van, with the lender assessing its age, mileage, condition, value and seller.

Courier and multi-vehicle fleets

From a second delivery van to several vehicles for a new contract. Tell us about the work, the delivery timetable and whether the vans need to arrive together or in stages.

Your funding options

Ownership or use. Understand the difference.

01

Hire purchase

Spread the purchase cost through an agreed repayment schedule. Ownership can pass to your business once all contractual payments and any option-to-purchase fee have been paid.

Ask us to set out the initial payment, monthly cost, fees and any final payment together, so you can compare the full commitment.

02

Finance lease

Your business uses the asset in return for rentals, while the finance provider retains ownership. End-of-term arrangements depend on the agreement and should be understood before you sign.

We can explain the initial rental, ongoing payments and the options available when the primary term ends.

Explore the detail in our hire purchase, finance lease and contract hire comparison and VAT on asset finance guide.

Make the purchase work

Look beyond the monthly payment.

Deposit and cash flow

Think about the initial payment alongside insurance, servicing, fuel and the cash needed to run the new work. A lower monthly figure may involve a larger deposit or final payment.

Specification and availability

Payload, load length, roof height and any conversion need to match the job. Confirm delivery dates, vehicle condition and what the supplier price includes before proceeding.

The total commitment

Compare the full payment schedule, fees and any final payment. Ask how early settlement and end-of-term arrangements work, rather than choosing on the monthly amount alone.

Start with the essentials

What to send us.

A supplier quote or listing is a useful starting point. We will confirm which supporting documents the lender needs.

  • For a used van: registration, age and mileage where available.
  • Your preferred initial payment, term and intended use.
  • For sourcing: vehicle size, specification, quantity and delivery location.
  • Recent accounts or bank statements if the lender requests them.

Your questions answered

Van finance: frequently asked questions

Can DCF source the van as well as arrange finance?

Yes. Tell us the make or specification, quantity, budget and delivery requirements. We can explore sourcing through our vehicle contacts and discuss funding alongside it. Prices and availability are confirmed for the specific vehicle.

Do you arrange new and used van finance?

Yes. We can explore finance for new and used vans for UK limited companies. For a used van, the lender considers age, mileage, condition, value and the proposed supplier, as well as your business.

Can a newly established limited company apply?

You can ask us to assess the options. Limited trading history can affect lender choice, and a lender may request extra information, a different initial payment or guarantees. Approval is not automatic.

How much deposit will my company need?

There is no single deposit that applies to every application. It depends on your business, the van, the agreement and the lender. We will explain the initial payment and any separate amounts due before you proceed.

Can you arrange finance for several courier vans?

We can discuss multiple-vehicle requirements, including courier and delivery businesses. Send us the vehicle numbers, proposed supplier, contract timetable and your company details so we can explore suitable funding.

How quickly can a van finance deal be completed?

Timing depends on lender approval, the documents needed and vehicle availability. Share any delivery deadline at the start so we can establish what is realistic. A finance decision and delivery are separate stages.
