The practical answer
Some lenders may consider a first courier van, but they will assess the business and intended delivery work, not just the vehicle.
Provide the courier contract or route details, expected mileage and realistic net income after fuel, insurance, maintenance and driver costs. A delivery platform account alone may not demonstrate dependable work.
Check that the finance agreement permits courier use and that the insurance covers it. If the company is new, relevant driving or logistics experience and cash available for the initial payment can help explain the proposal.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
