The practical answer
Compare all cash flows over the same period, including initial payments, regular instalments, fees and final commitments.
Use the same vehicle prices, VAT assumptions, delivery dates and intended retention period. A quote with a larger deposit or balloon can look cheaper monthly without costing less overall.
For several lenders, combine every schedule and include overlapping payments on vehicles being replaced. Keep maintenance and insurance visible as operating costs rather than confusing them with the financing price.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
