The practical answer
Different agreements may be possible where ownership plans, assets or lender offers differ, but compare the combined commitments carefully.
Keep an asset register showing legal ownership, agreement type, repayment dates, final payments and end-of-term obligations for every vehicle. VAT cash flow may differ across the structures.
Do not choose purely on the lowest instalment. A mixed fleet can be practical, but disposal and replacement planning become harder if the contracts are not tracked together.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
