Fleets & multiple vehicles

What should a fleet finance vehicle schedule include?

Use one line per vehicle so the lender can match identity, price, seller, delivery and proposed funding.

The practical answer

Use one line per vehicle so the lender can match identity, price, seller, delivery and proposed funding.

Include registration or VIN where available, make, model, year, mileage, price excluding and including VAT, supplier, expected delivery and any existing settlement. Identify optional equipment and conversions separately.

Keep the schedule current when stock changes. Duplicate vehicles, missing VAT treatment or inconsistent supplier quotes can delay documentation even after a credit proposal has been assessed.

Important

Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.

What should I do next?

Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
