The practical answer
Pause and verify the change through an independently established contact before any payment is made.
Tell the broker or lender and provide the supplier’s revised instructions for their checks. Use a trusted contact route already known to the business rather than relying only on the email announcing the change.
Do not pressure the lender to bypass supplier verification to meet a deadline. A payment to the wrong account can be difficult to recover and may leave the genuine supplier unpaid.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
