The practical answer
Agree a realistic timetable and make clear that funding remains conditional rather than promising a payment date you cannot control.
Send the lender complete asset and seller information early and ask what checks remain. If considering a holding deposit, understand the refund terms and whether it changes the lender’s purchase structure.
Do not sign inaccurate acceptance documents or skip ownership checks to satisfy a rushed seller. A genuine deadline does not remove the risk of buying an unsuitable or encumbered asset.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
