The practical answer
Potentially. Forklifts and other materials-handling equipment can be funded subject to lender criteria, including used equipment where acceptable.
Provide capacity, lift height, year, hours and power source, plus the supplier quote. For electric equipment, clarify whether the battery and charger are included and who owns them.
Compare the maintenance and downtime responsibilities with any rental alternative. A finance payment does not automatically include servicing, tyres or battery replacement.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
