The practical answer
An application may be discussed, but the licence position and ability to operate the vehicle need to be disclosed.
Explain the application status, planned start date and who will operate the truck. A lender may ask for supporting evidence or impose conditions before funds are released.
Do not treat credit approval as permission to operate, or buy solely on an assumed licence outcome. Plan for delays and obtain the appropriate transport advice on the operational requirements.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
