Can I finance a hookloader or skip-loader truck?

These trucks may be considered, but clarify whether the funding covers only the vehicle or also containers and handling equipment.

The practical answer

These trucks may be considered, but clarify whether the funding covers only the vehicle or also containers and handling equipment.

Itemise the chassis, loader system, skips or containers, and any refurbishment. Provide identification and values for the separate assets rather than describing the whole purchase only as a truck.

Show the operating contracts or business need and expected utilisation. Loose containers may be assessed differently from equipment permanently fitted to the chassis, so ask what the lender will include.

Important

Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.

What should I do next?

Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
