The practical answer
This may be more complex than buying UK dealer stock because registration, vehicle identity, supplier payment and lender security need resolving.
Supply the source country, vehicle identification number, invoice, specification and intended UK registration timetable. Explain who handles transport and registration and when the seller expects payment.
Ask the lender which steps must be completed before funding. Finance approval alone does not confirm that the van can be registered, insured or used for the intended work.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
