The practical answer
Some lenders may consider a van and eligible fitted equipment together if the full specification, invoices and installation sequence are clear.
Itemise the vehicle, racking, lining, security equipment and labour. Identify whether the dealer supplies the completed van or a second company will fit the conversion after delivery.
Ask when each supplier needs paying and whether funding depends on completion. Do not assume loose tools, consumables or all labour costs will qualify simply because they appear on the same quote.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
