The practical answer
The lender may fund less than the purchase price, leaving a gap for the business or requiring a revised transaction.
Ask how the valuation was reached and whether specification or condition information is missing. Genuine additional evidence can be supplied, but an advertised price alone does not establish market value.
Consider renegotiating the price, changing the asset or funding a larger initial contribution. Do not assume the shortfall can simply be hidden in a revised supplier invoice.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
