The practical answer
Yes. Changes can affect the lender’s understanding of control, management, experience and financial support.
Provide current company details and explain the transaction, including who will operate the business and any change in guarantees or funding. Filed records may not fully explain the commercial position.
If a change occurs after approval but before funding, tell the broker promptly. Do not assume an offer based on the previous ownership or management remains valid without review.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
