The practical answer
Try to understand the reason before making another application, because the issue could concern the business, asset, supplier or structure.
Check the accuracy of submitted information and ask whether missing documents or a different proposal could materially change assessment. Another lender may have different appetite, but approval is not guaranteed.
Avoid altering facts to fit a lender or submitting repeatedly without addressing the underlying problem. Consider a different asset, timing or initial contribution if those changes are commercially sensible.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
