The practical answer
Statements can help a lender assess current trading, cash movement, existing commitments and account conduct.
Provide the requested period through the lender’s approved secure route, with all pages and accounts requested. Explain unusual transfers, temporary overdraft use or large one-off transactions where relevant.
Do not alter statements or omit material information. The exact request depends on the lender and transaction; being asked for statements does not by itself mean the application will be refused.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
