The practical answer
The lender may need to confirm that the specified asset exists, has been delivered and meets the agreed funding conditions.
The required evidence could include serial details, delivery documents, inspection or a signed acceptance certificate. Confirm the exact requirements before the supplier’s payment falls due.
Do not sign acceptance merely to help a supplier get paid if the equipment is missing or untested. Report discrepancies promptly so funding and supplier issues can be resolved using accurate information.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
